Meetings
Meetings are four times a year (April, July, October, & January). The meeting will usually be the first Saturday of those months and have a potluck dinner. Location will be announced on this website.

The Food Initiatives Group (FIG) is hosting a potluck and group meeting Wednesday, October 15 at beautiful Horn Lodge. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner and a bonfire at 6:30 p.m. New members and families are encouraged to come.
FIG is a grassroots organization promoting the resurgence of a local food culture to provide every person access to sustainably produced, nutritious food.
The meeting will include a slideshow overview of the group’s 2008 activities, which included a local foods fundraising dinner, the Heritage Days parade float, and production of a local food guide. Individuals will have an opportunity to sign up for a variety of projects for 2009.
Please bring a dish to share and table service, including napkins and cups. Water will be provided. Several door prizes will be awarded at the end of the event.
