Membership Information
Your membership dues help us to achieve our goals. Upcoming uses for funds may include:
- arranging for volunteers or hired staff to manage the "swipe" machine at the farmer's market. The machine would facilitate use of LINK (debit form of food assistance), credit and debit cards at the 2009 farmer's market; advertising the availability of the machine.
- printing and distributing local food guides,
- making a proposal to Loaves and Fishes for cold storage,
- sponsoring a speaker to describe their farming cooperative, which sells locally grown produce to families and institutions such as nursing homes and colleges
